Terrified of being gay while teenager, Will Young
Will Young revealed he is gay soon after winning UK TV talent show ‘Pop Idol‘ in 2002. The 32-year-old singer admits he wasn’t a very “sexual” person until he reached his late 20s, and all that because he was ”terrified” of being gay. Will now says he feels much more comfortable with his erotic side.
“I was terrified of being gay so I didn’t really feel sexual until I was about 26.
“I wasn’t really having sex, so I was quite inhibited. I feel like I’ve reached a place that I’m happy with, worked out things I will never do. It’s taken me years to work that out.
The gay singer Will Young says he has no problems with getting older and feels he has become a more “responsible” person. But now has the courage to change things in his life that no longer interest him.
“They say your early 30s are the last chance you have to make a big change in your life. I look at some things now and think, ‘No thanks, not interested any more.’-Will Young for Attitude magazine.
