Dr. Conrad Murray-Guilty of Michael Jackson's death.

Michael Jackson‘s former doctor Dr. Conrad Murray has been found guilty of involuntary manslaughter over the late singer’s death. The jury delivered their verdict at the Los Angeles County courthouse yesterday (07.11.11), after just 10 hours of deliberation, following a six-week trial.

“Superior court of California, Los Angeles County, the people of the state of California plaintiff Vs Conrad Robert Murray, defender. We the jury in the above mentioned actions, find the defendant guilty of the crime of involuntary manslaughter.”-the court clerk read the verdict out.

Conrad Murray appeared stone-faced as the verdict was read in the courtroom. The 58-year-old doctor, who is to be sentenced November 29, is facing up to four years in prison. He could also lose his medical license. Members of the late singer’s family including his parents Joe and Katherine Jackson turned up at the courthouse an hour before the verdict was read out.

Outside the court, Michael Jackson’s fans were heard cheering and chanting “guilty, guilty”, ”lock him up,” and “throw away the key.”

The judge asked each of the jurors, individually, if they were sure of their verdict before concluding the hearing. During the six-week trial, 49 witnesses have been heard and more than 300 pieces of evidence presented.

Conrad Murray had pleaded not guilty to causing Michael Jackson’s death on the morning of June 25, 2009 by giving him the anesthetic Propofol as a sleeping aid.

Katherine Jackson: No Evidence Estate Killed Michael Jackson

Late pop king Michael Jackson with his mom Katherine Jackson

Katherine Jackson, the mother of the late Michael Jackson, says she is aware of NO evidence to support any sort of conspiracy surrounding his death.

A number of people, including Jackson’s sister La Toya Jackson, have suggested there was a conspiracy among people close to the star to kill Michael.

“It is only natural for people who loved Michael Jackson, including family members, to be suspicious about the circumstances. So far I have not seen one shred of evidence that anyone associated with Michael’s estate conspired to bring about Michael’s untimely death.”

“If such evidence ever comes to my attention I will be the first to bring those facts to light … No one loved Michael more than I loved him, but no one should face false accusations, as Michael did, of a crime they did not commit.”-Katherine Jackson explains.

The list of falsely accused for the death of Michael Jackson does not include Dr.Conrad Murray, who Mrs. Katherine Jackson believes should absolutely stand trial for involuntary manslaughter.
