Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon Lovable Twins Debut with Barbara Walters on a “20/20” special airing last Friday night; which the show was all about the 6 month olds Moroccan and Monroe. Carey explained that she didn’t fully understand everything that had to do with pregnancy, “I don’t think I understood the enormity or the magnitude of what it really does to your body. It’s not just, oh you don’t look pretty and you have a bump.”

Cannon and Carey explains that having experienced the miscarriage the first time they were scared that it might happen again, especially while being pregnant with twins. Being pregnant with twins is considered a high risk pregnancy and Carey said that she had to have appointments to see a specialist. They found out they were having twins while two months into the pregnancy and then they found out they were having a girl and boy around six months. They were both extremely excited in finding out the sexes. Also the news of having twins was simply scary and exciting at first.

Carey states that the babies love hearing music, “They really respond to music,” and she even shares that she has cried while singing “Hero” to them. She sings to them all the time and they absolutely love it.

Cannon spoke about the importance of education that their children get once they get older. He wants them to be successful in whatever career path they choose, “I want to make sure we get education first. Society puts too much on entertainment and entertainers… They praise them like they’re royalty, especially in America, where it should really be about the teachers or, you know, the doctors. I want them to be able to sing as beautifully as their mother. I want them to be able to play instruments and everything. But I want them like ….’Go get a Ph.D.’”

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon revealed their six-month-old twins, Moroccan and Monroe, for the first time to Barbara Walters on TV show 20/2o.The diva has kept the adorable babies away from the spotlight  for six months after giving birth.Mariah Carey, 41,  and Nick Cannon, 31, wrote on their website Dembabies.com

The twins, all dressed up for their TV debut, curiously looking around.

“We deliberated for so long about how to reveal the first pictures of our babies to the world. We just didn’t want to do the typical thing and display them in a tabloid. We decided to share this beautiful experience with you in a special intimate portrait of our family.”

Mariah Carey and her husband Nick Cannon opened up their New York home Walters, also giving an interview about their relationship and attitude towards parenthood. The twins were born on the couple’s third wedding anniversary, after a difficult pregnancy.The public never knew about singer’s long periods of bed rest, false labors and several emergency trips to the hospital.

“I had serious back problems.I was afraid I wasn’t going to be able to walk properly again. It was a huge strain.”-Carey said.

The twins looked so cute, Moroccan was dressed in a smart beige suit, while Monroe, named after Marilyn Monroe, looked pretty in white dress and a matching bow in her hair.Both Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon told Walters they could not be happier having the twins in their lives.

“My family gives me everything. Unconditional love means…the world to me. I mean, it’s completion.”-the happy father said.

“It’s just love. It’s a beautiful place to be.-the diva added.

Mariah Carey to her husband Nick Cannon: No more kids!

The 41-year-old pop diva Mariah Carey says she doesn’t want more kids. The singer and her hubby, 30-year-old “America’s Got Talent” host Nick Cannon, became parents to twins, Moroccan Scott and Monroe in April. Although Nick wants more kids Mariah surely doesn’t.

“I want some (more), but I think my wife’s done. I tried to say, ‘Yo, let’s go for another round!’ and she’s like, ‘I’ll kill you!’”-Nick said.

After Mariah Carey gave birth to the twins, her husband surprised her with beautiful pink and white diamond necklace.

“It says Moroccan and Monroe in pink and white diamonds. My wife has so much jewellery, so I’ve got to be really creative when I give gifts.” he said for the TV show ’Extra’.

The “America’s Got Talent” host also added that the babies are both living up to their names.

“My son Roc lives up to his name. He’s a tough guy. He’s already crawling. And then my daughter, she’s just a diva.”
