Kimberly Stewart just one month before she delivers her baby girl.
Rod Steward’s daughter Kimberly Stewart gave birth to a baby girl at a Los Angeles hospital yesterday (21.08.11).
The blonde socialite and Oscar winning actor Benicio del Toro became parents to the newborn. Kimberly got pregnant during a short fling with the actor, and the couple are not longer together.
“Benicio is the father and very supportive. Although [he and Kimberly] are not a couple, they are looking forward to the arrival of the baby.”-actor’s spokesperson revealed in April.
The baby girl, who is yet to be named, weighed a healthy 8lbs 9oz and was also welcomed at the hospital by Kimberly Stewart’s mother Alana Collins, Rod’s first wife.
Baby’s grandfather Rod Stewart has eight children including Kimberly, and Sean 30, by his former wife, and their half-sister Ruby 23. He also has a daughter Renee 18 and a 16-year-old son Liam by model Rachel Hunter.
“I’m going to be a grandfather, I’ve been waiting for that for so long – that and getting my bus pass – the two things I was looking forward to getting.”-Kimberly Stewart’s dad said.
