Baby is on the way: mom to be Hilary Duff and hubby Mike Comrie are overwhelmed.

The 23-year-old actress Hilary Duff is expecting her first child. She and her husband Mike Comrie, a hockey player.

“Hello everyone! This weekend, Mike and I are celebrating our one year anniversary! In memory of the special day, we decided to post some of our favourite pictures from our wedding! I can’t believe it has already been a year, time really flies when you’re having fun!

“We also want to share the exciting news that BABY MAKES THREE!!! We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives. Thanks to everyone for the continued love and support throughout the years! (sic)”-Hilary Duff wrote on her official website.

The beautiful actress had said earlier this month that she and Mike, 30, were excited to have children but were planning to wait a bit longer as she wanted to make a new album.

Hilary Duff is currently preparing for a new movie, the remake of the 1967 starring Warren Beatty and Faye Dunaway- Bonnie and Clyde, where she will portray the main character Bonnie. Her partner in crime, Clyde Barrow will be Gossip Girl actor Kevin Zegers.

Hilary Duff is expecting her first child. She certainly looks happy.

Hilary Duff wants to have kids but after she makes a new album

The former Disney star, Hilary Duff, who will celebrate her first wedding anniversary with husband Mike Comrie on August 14, would love to start a family with her spouse, but not before she makes a new album.

“We talk about [having kids]. Yes, we’re excited to do that, but I think I want to work a little more.

“I’m tossing around the idea of making another album record. We want it, and we’re excited for it but think it can wait a while longer. He is supportive of me. We both are excited to do that, but he  knows I’m still young.”- young Hilary Duff explains.

Hilary’s husband Mike, currently plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins while she is in Los Angeles for work, and the couple are forced to a long distance relationship but the actress says they know how to make it work.

“We started off in a long distance relationship. You make it work. We’re used to being busy. We prefer to be together, but this is how we have to do it.”-Hilary Duff adds.
