Amanda Brumfield is Billy Bob Thornton’s estranged 32 year old daughter who was recently sentenced to 20 years in prison for she was found guilty in the murder (aggravated manslaughter) of a small child in May.

The child was her best friend’s little, one year daughter: Olivia Madison Garcia whom was left in the care of Amanda Brumfield. Amanda Brumfield claimed that the little girl hit her head while trying to climb out of her play pen, though this claim was highly speculated for not even a small child can kill herself from a a fall from such a short height.

The little girl had a three and a half inch fracture on her skull which prosecutors found impossible to obtain from that height. At first she was found not guilty on child abuse and firt degree murder charges of Olivia Madison Garcia.

Coincidentally and freakish enough Amanda Brumfield‘s trial, Billy Bob Thornton‘s daughter trial took place in he same courthouse in Florida as Casey Anthony.

Though Amanda Brumfield‘s and Billy Bob Thornton allegedly have been estranged for years, I bet it’s still awfully painful for a father to find out that a child was murdered or died while under the care of their own daughter. Something sure went wrong when Amanda Brumfield was taking care of the late, Olivia Madison Garcia.
